Getting Started

Overview

Lof RMA provides full control over various areas of return merchandise authorization process. Magento 2 Lof RMA extension provides several options for the customer to create a new request. Following that, a customer has all the necessary tools to monitor request processing and interact with store personnel. And, on the other side, store personnel is provided with a straightforward, step by step process for dealing with return merchandise authorisation requests.

Installation

The module we provide 2 ways of magento 2 RMA installation which was supported by magento 2

1. INSTALLATION FROM COMMAND LINE (RECOMMENDED)

Your magento 2 extension can be installed in a few minutes by going through these following steps:

  • Download/purchase the extension
  • Unzip the file in a temporary directory
  • Upload it to your Magento installation root directory
  • Disable the cache under System->Cache Management
  • Enter the following at the command line in SSH terminal:
  • php bin/magento setup:upgrade
    php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
  • After opening Stores->Configuration->Advanced->Advanced, the module will be shown in the admin panel

2. MANUAL INSTALLATION

  • Download/purchase the extension
  • Unzip the file in a temporary directory
  • Upload it to your Magento installation root directory
  • Disable the cache under System->Cache Management
  • Edit app/etc/config.php file and three line code:
    ‘Lof_Rma’=> 1
  • Clean the cache under System->Cache Management
  • After opening Stores->Configuration->Advanced->Advanced, the module will be shown in the admin panel

3. UPGRADING DATABASE

If you need to upgrade the database, run the following command line:

php bin/magento setup:db-schema:upgrade

Congrats! You finished install the extension, now you can go forward!

Usage

Config and manage RMA on backend

Lof rma how to use?

I will show you how to add new RMA

Firstly, login the backend > Open RMA > Manage Rma > Add New

 

you select the order , which have items you want to return

you will need to fulfill a form to add necessary information for the Rma

Click Rma to view and edit Rma

 

At admin rma view, you can edit rma  information , send message to customer or internal note. Click Credit Memo to create credit memo for the order.Click Exchange Order to exchange order for customer

Manager Rma status

Login the backend > Open RMA > Status

you can delete, enable or disable status

 

Click Add New to add new status.

 

 

Edit Rma status

Click status to edit

Manager Rma Reasons

Login the backend > Open RMA > Reason

you can delete, enable or disable reasons

 

Click Add New button to add new rma reason

Click reason to edit

Manager Resolution

Login the backend > Open RMA > Resolution

you can delete, enable or disable Resolution

Click Add New to add Rma resolution

Manager Rma Conditions

Login the backend > Open RMA > Condition

you can delete, enable or disable conditions

 

Manager Rma Quick Responses

Create your own templates for emails

Login the backend > Open RMA > Responses

you can delete, enable or disable responses

 

Manager Customs Feilds

you could create a custom field to store info and use them to store some additional information about RMA

Login the backend > Open RMA > Feilds

you can delete, enable or disable feilds

Click Add New button to add new custom feild

 

Manager Workflow Rules

you can tune into every step of the returns and exchanges using flexible Workflow Rules

Login the backend > Open RMA > Workflow Rules

you can delete, enable or disable workflow rules

Click Add New to create new rule

You can manage the Conditions , set Statuses and create Notification templates

 


Manager return address

Login the backend > Open RMA >Return Address

you can delete, enable or disable return address

 

 

Rma Report

 

Login the backend > Open RMA > Report > RMA

You can filer by time and period

Login the backend > Open RMA > Report > RMA By Products

You can filer by time and period

Login the backend > Open RMA > Report > RMA By Reasons

You can filer by time and product name

Config Setting

Login the backend > Open RMA > Setting

 

 

You can set  a product attribute to not allow customer return this product

Login the backend > Open Catalog> Products

Select product and change ‘Not Allow Rma ‘ attribute

 

Manage RMA on frontend

Add new Rma by customer

Login the frontend > login with your customer account > Open My account > RMA

You will see your Rma list. At here you will see all RMA requests by your account, and you can add new rma request as you want.

Click Request New Return to add new Rma

Select the order which have items you want return

 

 

click the checkbox to show this form and add item information

if your customer item is a non-returnable item per your return policy ,it will show like that

enter another information in Additional Information

Click Submit Request to save

View Rma at frontend

Click ‘view return’ to view Rma

Customer can add message to admin
